I tried Neville Goddard’s ‘Climbing the Ladder’ technique, where we visualise climbing a ladder then usually end up climbing a ladder! And it happens in our reality because climbing a ladder is not that important, it is not something we really want or strive for that is why this visualisation can manifest quite easily in our reality. It is also an indication of just how easily we can create prosperity, success, a house or car. But as I just said, no one cares about climbing a ladder but we do care about finding money for food, bills, the rent, a spacious home and successful business, etc.

And that is why we don’t receive the bigger things, because we consider them more important. We want those things, continue to dwell on them and feel frustrated when what we so desperately crave doesn’t appear. As people say, if this Law of Attraction thing is so easy then why don’t I have the things I want yet? The answer, because you are making it so hard when the truth is, it really is that easy. I just told you how easy this is, through visualising climbing a ladder! Who cares about that? Just a quick visualisation and we don’t care if it happens or not, we don’t care if we never climb a ladder, and also don’t care if we did climb the ladder.

It’s just fun, light, unimportant, a silly test, so whoopdy doo. And so, because we kept it fun, light and of no concern then it manifests with ease. So if we could stop worrying about money, the bills, rising prices and all the things we really want, then those things too would manifest in our reality, with ease, it really is that simple. When I visualised a ladder I fell asleep before I actually climbed it, so I just put my hands on either side of a friends 6ft step ladder, I felt the metal sides in my visitation, saw the wooden steps, then fell asleep. A few days later I went to my friends home and he lost a small spanner and asked me to help him search the house for it. He sent me to check the kitchen draws and when I went in there his rickety old wooden step ladder, that is 6ft high, which is always in his kitchen cupboard, was blocking entry to the draws. So I had to pick it up and move it to one side just so I could access the draws. And it wasn’t until after we found the spanner that I realised I had just carried out my visualisation to the exact specifications. I had looked at the ladder head on, seen the wooden steps, put my hands on either side of it and felt the metal sides. Then I realised for the very first time after visiting my friend for 18 months the ladder was not in his cupboard. Why was it here?

Why did he decide to check the bathroom, living room and front room and just send me into the kitchen? Why was it not a situation where I had to climb the ladder? Because I didn’t visualise climbing a ladder! I didn’t visualise a tall ladder, or a full metal ladder so I received from the divine exactly what I had seen, felt and believed in my imagination. The irony is we eventually found the spanner in the very first place we had looked, and we knew it would be there yet was shocked to find it wasn’t. Why couldn’t we see it till after we had searched the house and I’d had this encounter?

Then we went back to the first draw we knew it just had to be in and there it was… so much magic and circumstance in one event. And as Neville Goddard said, those who climb the ladder can create a million dollars! And after this experience I thought, next time I want to actually climb the ladder. I haven’t been up a ladder in 10 years but within weeks I found myself at the top of his ladder, as the next time I called to see him he asked me to clean his microwave which was on top of a tall fridge, and clean a window that also needed a ladder to reach it. And it wasn’t till I was up there doing the 2nd job that I realised I had just climbed the ladder. And while I was up there a lottery advert appeared on TV and I thought, I could get that just as easily if I made that wish as unimportant as climbing this ladder. So try it for yourself! This ‘Climbing the Ladder’ picture came up the very next day on a thumbnail on my PC after my visualisation, then I started seeing ladders absolutely everywhere I went.
