If we dare mention wanting to be rich to some people they accuse us of being greedy, materialistic! If we claim to be spiritual they are even worse, we should own nothing and work for free; in other words they can earn a living but expect the gifted to give them our services and advice for free. Yet if we asked them to come and fit us a free kitchen, fix our car, clean our home or do our garden they would be appalled if we expected they do it for nothing. After all they have rent to pay and a family to feed, but we don’t it seems, we don’t because we just sit on a mountain top meditating all day long, so we don’t need money, a mortgage, food or material things!
It is our duty to be rich, it is our responsiblity to ourselves to attract more than enough to get by, and to not take that responsibility is to burden others as we need help from our family, friends, neighbours, community, councils, charities, state benefits and the tax payer. If everyone was self sufficient in the world then charities begging us for money would not exist, and we would not be a burden on society. If we were all extremely wealthy we could meet all our needs in the community, we could pay for all our own services, fix our own roads, buy our own reliable bus, train and plane service. Clean up our parks, local environment, and shops could afford their rates and bills to trade freely and make good profits, etc, etc.
It is our duty to be rich, our duty to be able to afford to serve community, our responsibility to ensure we can afford to live, and thrive, and to give ourselves the freedom to go wherever we want, whenever we want. To travel, have fun, experience new places, countries, cultures and life itself! It is our right to live in comfort and luxury, to have space in our home and garden. To enjoy nice things that we have worked or suffered for, but if we mention our dreams, some are pleased, but many others immediately condemn us as if we are the devil himself for daring to dream. Because we are trained to believe we are worth more if we have less. I have struggled all my life till I’m finally sick of those who expect me to get a proper job, who tell me my teachings are not work, who say if I really want to help people I should work in a charity shop or food bank unpaid because they don’t approve of a writer that hasn’t sold a book yet, I should get any old job that pays enough to get by, then they will be proud of me for trying.
We do not need the opinion or approval of others… if we all got a proper job there would be no entertainment for those in a proper job! No artist, singer, actor, musician, author or spiritual guru’s helping others out of a proper job so they can do what makes them happy and live their best life!

But fine tune that delicate balance just to please them because god forbid if you have too much, or have too little. You are just a worthless scrounger if you need their help, or a complete show off if you are able to afford a posh car. If we have very little money everyone has advice about what we must do with it. If we have a bit more money then everyone has advice about how we should invest it, yet nobody we know has a clue how to make their money work for them! If they did then they’d be rich so how can they give others financial advice? So much anger, bitterness, envy and jealousy is rife when it comes to other peoples money, as their jobs, unemployment and lifestyle is constantly judged when we should just live.
