Many years ago I was travelling up to a set of traffic lights in my old car, and through the LOA, for me, traffic lights were always on green. But to my surprise there was a traffic jam ahead and I wanted to turn right. But there were traffic cones all along my right side, with road works going on behind the cones. So I was heading into a big queue of traffic and knew it would be a long wait before I got through the lights. And I wasn’t sure if we were allowed to turn right once I got there… then a miracle happened!

The universe opened up a right of way just for me as the car in front of me suddenly turned right, and drove between the cones leaving all the traffic chaos behind. So stupidly I followed him, thinking oh, we can go through this way and turn right after all. Then he stopped just before the lights, so I sat behind him, waiting for him to go through them as a big steam roller was driving up close behind in my rear view mirror. It was only then that I thought, should I be here? Then the man got out of his car in front of me, knocked on my window and asked what I was doing, I said, following you!

Then he told me he was a road worker and I shouldn’t be there so please go through the lights, which of course were on green! So I nipped through avoiding all the traffic and the long wait others endured. And that was my driving experience every day until I sold my old car. I was so happy I came straight through every light, I came straight out of every junction, straight off my drive way, and drove straight into parking spaces wherever I went.

Because the universe removed every car on the road from my path, but before I realised I could work this magic, my complaints about traffic turned every light red. I had to wait ages at every junction, and I could never find a parking spot, and if I did I often received a parking ticket!

And my miserable driving experiences lasted years, often encountering police stops, fines and road rage too. But when I changed on the inside, and felt excited to be alive, then my new, more thrilling experiences lasted years till I sold my car, and even one lone parking fine disappeared into thin air. And now I walk everywhere, the lights always change to red and stop the traffic so I can cross the roads. It’s purely magical, and we could all live this way, just stop indulging in all the misery and complaints each day, switch off the news, stop worrying about people, debt, regrets, fear, and never look back at what you’ve lost, look forward to all you can gain.
