Spiritually, giving is essential to receiving, and the thing is we don’t always have the time nor the money to give. But we give every single day, because we have partners, parents, children and grand children and do everything for family, friends, colleagues and even strangers. We give of ourselves in the work place each day, helping the boss, our collegues, clients and customers. If you make something and sell it that is giving, and the buyer who pays for your goods helps pay the rent, that is giving.

So we receive through our generosity, help and appreciation. We don’t have to find the time or money on top of all of this if we don’t wish to, it’s a choice. Giving freely feels good but often saying no to others is also good for our well being and self respect, as we know some people take advantage. So we often do enough in a day for our own family, and in the work place, and looking after number one is vital. Making a meal, caring, cleaning, driving kids to school, washing, ironing, packing lunches, going shopping, making a coffee, anything that serves others and saves them time, is giving! Buying a gift, offering a warm greeting, a hug, a smile, a kind word or good advice is giving! You are enough, so you do receive.

We receive help ourselves, a gift, a thank you, a smile, but we must give unconditionally because when we give and hold others to ransom, and think, ‘I gave, therefore you owe me.’ that’s when we don’t receive, and you may notice that favour is often not returned. But when one person says no, another will always say yes if we let others off the hook. And we must also learn to take, to accept the gift, help and money others offer, if not, we are telling the universe we won’t accept riches, therefore we don’t.

So many people give too much wanting to be liked then refuse any money, gifts or help in return. And you give out the vibe you don’t need money help or gifts, then when you do it often doesn’t come your way. Then those same people often complain they do so much for everyone else and get nothing back. So we must always be open to any help that is offered if we wish to let the universe know we are acceptance of wealth and luxury.
