There is a quote… Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?
Far too many people spend meaningless hours on social media platforms trying to convince others they are wrong and we know best. And we may be right, but they are just as adamant that they are right, and we will never convince them otherwise. Their beliefs are set in stone, but so are ours, so we must ask, will they ever convince us to see things their way?
No, never… so what makes us think we can make them see our truth and reality, so all we do is make ourselves unhappy, angry and so frustrated, condemning others for not seeing things our way. All these needless, endless debates that bait us into discussion, as one simple comment triggers our delicate senses, then we just have to put them straight.
We just can’t help ourselves, yet it just wastes our day, saps our energy and keeps us stuck in an endless cycle of who’s right and who’s wrong, which get neither of us nowhere. The only way we can sort out the world is by focusing on ourselves, our own life and our own goals. How much could we really get done in a day if we ignored all those endless debates.

And some deliberately strike up these debates so others turn on you as they love to bring you down, then when you say the wrong thing these days the police come knocking. Much to the delight of the poster’s deliberate provocations, as so often we see the same people whipping up a storm each day. So we need to stop looking for trouble, as it will find us.
It is all just a distraction taking us away from our true joy and potential, and yes I’m guilty of falling into this trap too. The News is another bone of contention, which often has us shouting at the telly. So we must learn to control our emotions, and stop believing we can sort out the world through defending our corner and fighting all others in heated debates.
We can’t, all that does is makes us feel bad… and the only way to change the world is by feeling good inside, and knowing we are all connected, reflecting each other and looking for the same thing in the end… Peace.
And just remember this, we can tear a single piece of paper but we cannot tear a phone book. We can break one chop stick but cannot break a bunch of chosticks. We can tear a single cloth… United we stand, divided we fall.
