Why do people buy a lottery ticket? Because they want to win big so they never have to worry about another bill or their mortgage again for the rest of their life. Most people hate their job and want the choice to do as they please, and many want a bigger home with more space, a new car and to buy everything they have always wanted. Including helping family, etc.

So, why when we hit the jack pot do so many people say, you don’t need all that money, you don’t need a house that size with such a big garden and a swimming pool. Yet if they won the lottery that would be the first things they would buy, showing off the cars, home and pool. And say nobody helped me when I had nothing so I’m not helping them now!

And those who work all year go on holiday in the sun, staying by the sea, swimming in a pool, having their meals made for them and that’s ok. So why is that not ok for a lottery winner to live as if they are on holiday every day, with such ease and convenience for the rest of their lives?

Because we’ve been taught it’s wrong, yet why is the self made rich man ok to have those things, yet the lottery winner should share all his wealth? The lottery winner doesn’t need a big home, but we envy the rich man’s luxury, and if we envy it then we want the same, yet will deny the jack pot winner. So back to my question, why do people buy a lottery ticket? In the hope of winning, so they never have to struggle to pay the bills ever again.

But others say they should share their win with everyone else, and then fall out with them if they don’t get a piece of the pie. But if the lucky person shared all their winnings then they would be back where they started, as broke as everyone else who took and spent all their money.

They say if the top wealthy 1% shared out all their riches with the poor, just so everyone was equal, the money would be back in the hands of the rich within a year. And that is true, as many jack pot winners are broke and looking for a job within 2 years of winning. Because this is not about money, it is about mindset, winning big does not remove that poverty mindset. So they open businesses that fail, they lose on stocks and shares, they continue to gamble to gain more, and lose. They give everything to family and friends, and pay for everyone down the pub, till it is all gone.

And thinking they can win again never crosses their mind, because it’s a once in a life time win as we are constantly told. So they never choose to look beyond that. But they try to win again in desperation only when the money is all gone. Back to the poverty mindset that never really left them just because of a wind fall. So why does a poverty mindset hit the jack pot in the first place? Well we all want more money to get by, as we never seem to have enough to pay off our debts, so we would all like such a big windfall, and so it is done! This wish is already granted for each and every last one of us. It is only our belief in the odds of winning, our belief that our job will never pay enough, a bank would never risk giving us a loan to start a successful businesses, we’re too old, not skilled, or clever enough.

This stops our dream manifesting into our reality. So it is because they wish, dream, get so sick of their financial situation that they have one moment of giving up, letting go, no longer caring that allows the money to flow through. They are living proof the money was always waiting for us to accept and allow it to come forth. Then they often look back instead of looking forward, fearing being in that place again, and so that fear and focus takes them back there. Neville Goddard won the lottery 7 times, because he didn’t believe in the lie, against all odds, once in a life time.

And people like us don’t win, etc. Ordinary people do win, but if you have noticed it is often the elderly, retired, who say they’ll give it to their grand kids. Or someone in a good job who doesn’t really need it and continues to work and serve their community. It is rarely ever a rags to riches story.

Because they don’t really need the money, so they are not living in fear or desperation, they’re not trying hard to gain a few pounds from any place, from somewhere, somehow in hope of a big win. Accept a smaller win!

Why do we pressure ourselves into winning so big? Why a million and more? What is wrong with 50,000, 30,000, half a million etc. People win smaler prizes every day we never even here about so they believe no one has won because the jack pot rolled over, yet none would turn their nose up at 10 grand! And why do we believe hitting the jack pot is impossible?

Jackpots are never there too long, they don’t roll over that often and even when they do I have almost never seen then reach their hilt then be split between all winners, as even at te very last chance someone always wins the big one. And if we believed in this, more would win more frequently.

It is not gambling to pick up a £2 ticket here and there, if it’s yout turn you will win, and those who can afford more tickets have no better chance than you if the universe decides your numbers will win that day. More tickets is another mindset and belief they have more chances of winning. But some people get the urge at the very last minute and absent mindedly decide to pick up one lucky dip while getting some shopping and win…

So no matter how bad our situation, we have to relax, enjoy each day and be grateful for what we already have, such as if our sofa cushions are worn out at least we have a sofa to sit on, which is inside a house! If we have no heating at least we have a home, then go from there, you want a new sofa, you want a luxury home? Then dream of that rather than focusing on the old sofa you don’t like. Dream, visualise, feel the vision, let it go and live!

But my point is, others dictate who is worthy of big money and who isn’t, if you are one of the poor or one of the rich, if you’re a lottery winner or a businessman. But don’t all lottery winners work harder than most self made millionaires? Aren’t most of us more honest than many wealthy con men, yet we are taught old money is far more worthy than new money…

The lottery is cheap, nasty, embarassing and we did nothing to deserve it, but a rich inheritence has no such condition, yet they too did nothing to earn it. The universe offers no such judgement, only those trying to keep you, or each other poor judge us. Because they have been programmed too… and by who? The extremely rich who don’t like to see you join them!

Don’t envy those with money, don’t feel jealous of what other’s have, never feel angry because the rich get richer as you get poorer. Because all of that inner turmoil let’s the universe know you don’t have it yet, have what they have. That vibe communicates lack in your life and the universe can only respond to your feelings of envy, bitterness or peace and joy. So you don’t just fool yourself, you must fool the universe… you’re rich right!
