We all believe we have our own thoughts, beliefs and opinions but in truth we don’t. We hold everyone else’s thoughts, beliefs and opinions, seeds planted from birth, so ingrained we think they’re our own.

But they are our parents beliefs, the governments, media, religous so called facts and stories planted in a perceptive mind. If we were brought up in another country or culture, and they brought up in ours then we would have a whole different set of values and beliefs. We would dress differently and identify to something else. A proud Scot, a patriotic Englishman, a faithful Irishman all true to their cause and the story, his-tory that was long told to us. In the film the Matrix they say, free your mind. That means forget everything you have ever been taught.

Strip your mind back to the day you were born without any input clouding your judgement, before we soaked up every word or lie like a sponge. If there was no one else on this planet to influence us, who woud you be? You would just be yourself… pure love. joy, contentment, peace, pure satisfaction, living without bias or judgement, blending with God and Gaia. If we strip everything back, we are not what we think we are.

So go it alone some days, find the silence, meditate. Be with god, at one with the universe and find your true self. After all is ‘said and done,’ you are still in there just waiting to be discovered. The purity, perfection and glorious innocence of your spirit, this is the real you, the beauty of life.
