A friend of mine ran a beauty parlour, and sold jewellery in her shop. I didn’t need any beauty treatments, I’m pretty enough, or I’m so ugly it wouldn’t make much difference. So I thought, I wish she would just have a jewellery party at home. 2 Weeks later she phoned me, and we hadn’t been friends for long, so she had much closer friends and family. But the universe also lets us know that our thoughts attracted this, as she said…

I’m having a jewellery party at home if you want to come, and I have no idea why, but I thought of you so I phoned you first. When I walked into her home other friends were in the back kitchen, so she could have asked any one of them when they arrived. But as she was taking me through, in the front room was lots of hand bags, and she said, I’m going to do a raffle later so pick a bag. I picked one I liked, and later I bought some jewellery, but couldn’t afford the dearer bag, so I decided I’ll win that bag instead!

I had brought my lucky charm with me, the little boy who always picks out my raffle number, and she had a young son, then asked who wants to pick a ticket? They both did, as I said he always picks out my numbers… But she just laughed it off then offered the bag to her young child, and he picked another ladies number, so she got the bag! How?… It was my bag!

I picked it! I wanted it and had asked the universe for it, so I was shocked, how could the universe hand my bag to someone else? But do you see what is unusual here? What person would be shocked because they lost a raffle prize they wanted? Who would expect it to be theirs? Who is that sure they would win and take it home? Me! I was sure, I had no doubt and total faith that bag was mine, just like when I ran out of money half way through a month and there was no one I could borrow from. I sat there and thought what will I do to get through the next 2 weeks? I know, I will win on the lottery tonight! Then I was literally given free lottery tickets, and scratch cards, then won £50 as all 3 lots were winners. That’s another story… but this is how sure we have to be. Not hope or pray, but expect and know, that without any shadow of a doubt, what you want is already yours!

Then the universe will deliver… But I had just lost my bag to someone else, but next she let my young companion pick a ticket. And of course I won as I had expected too and was told I could pick a piece of jewellery.

But I had bought all the jewellery I wanted and didn’t want any more. Yet as I was looking for another bit of jewellery someone tapped me on the shoulder and said she didn’t want a bag, she preferred some jewellery, so would I consider swapping with her? I got my bag! Why? Because I was so shocked, because I said to the universe it’s mine, how dare you give it away! They are called the 10 commandments, not 10 hopes or prayers, but command your worth, wants and wishes! In the meantime be happy and grateful and know for sure it is yours, then it will be, because the universe loves to surprise us, and witness both our endless joy and sheer gratitude.
