On a recent post I wrote these words… I can say I will buy a lottery ticket tomorrow or a scratch card and win, not many can say that, expect it, or be so sure. And the very next day I bought one single Thunderball lucky dip ticket costing £1. And the Thunderball was number 14, so I said, Ok I need 14 to come out. Then Thunderball 14 dropped out, with one of the main numbers on that ticket and I won a fiver. I bought one £5 scratch card and won £15 on it! This is how sure you have to be, like anything in life, it takes faith and practice, and I will not apologise for winning and teaching others they can win anything in life also. I am so sick of people telling everyone else they cannot win or achieve anything in life, the odds are against us, things like this don’t happen to people like us, don’t dream big, you’ll never be an astronaut, then having the nerve to tell me I’m doing more harm than good by telling others they are winners who can attract anything they want in life! The practical tell us to get a proper job.
When no proper low paid job is guaranteed any more, while others leave us far behind and become astronauts! So why not you? I remember job advice people coming into school and asking what job I wish to do when I leave? While my friends said they wanted a job at the local Supermarket, Mine, Sewing, Food or Pickle factory. I wanted to be an actress or writer.

They laughed and said that’s not practical, it’s so rare you will never make it, so what normal job are you interested in? I said ok, hair dressing, so I became a hair stylist, standing on my feet for long hours each day earning £7 a week. And I even had to give every penny of that to my mum. I asked for a raise and got an extra 50p. That was the proper job to sustain me, keep my parents and society happy. And people tell us what’s best for us.
Get yourself a little job, you’ll feel better! That is why everyone is in debt and struggling to pay their bills these days. It is why the economy is now crashing, and more become homeless, because we always accept so little and believe we deserve nothing more, so the universe says, wish granted!

But I did become a writer, the dream they told me was impossible, so stop listening to negative advice. Look at what they have achieved in their life, are they happy with their lot, then if that’s all you want for yourself keep taking their advice, and condemn mine. We all have that choice as god gave us free will, and why was we given free will? To dream, to attract what we want, to enjoy life not merely survive. I have wanted to play the Power ball for years and never had the money to do so and I didn’t want to play online. Then suddenly the Powerball is here and I can buy my tickets from my local shop! But they are more expensive, £4 a ticket. But my Power ball number came out on the very first game in Britain, then I saw a few words on the advert, it read, get 3 numbers and you win £1,500.

So I thought, ok I want 3 numbers and the very next day 3 numbers came out, not on the Powerball but I won £200 on the lottery, and then £30 on 3 cheap scratch cards. So then I could afford a few Powerball lottery tickets!

I was once an ordinary women from the North, with a little job in a cafe, serving teas and snacks, who loved the Goodies and dreamed of marrying Bill Oddie. And I ended up living in London and I went to Bill’s wedding.

He could have married at any time in his life, yet he just happened to get married the year I met him! That is not a coincidence but it wasn’t me he married, it was lovely Laura, and I was in a relationship with her brother. But the universe brought me as close to my dream as I could possibly get.
And it turned out marrying Bill Oddie was not meant to be my spiritual path in life. But I went to his house parties and his barbecues, I also spent Christmas day feasting on a Christmas dinner, with him and his family…

We played charades and exchanged presents, I stayed in his home when he went away on holidays and on his honeymoon. I lived with his brother in law, was part of the family and met many of his famous friends, I slept in his bed (with his permission) while he was away on honeymoon with his lovely wife Laura, so you can’t get much closer to Bill Oddie than that without marrying him. And so his passing this week meant a lot more to me than most fans. So simply because of my dream, the universe put me in Bill’s home and life. So don’t let anybody tell you anything is impossible, and things like that don’t happen to people like us… Believe that and it becomes your truth! Aim as high as the astronaut, and live your dreams!

My most heart felt condolences to all of Bill’s beautiful family and friends.
