I buy 2 scratch cards and always always win on one of them which so often covers my cost or more. I have done that for years, then last week the shop keeper asked me to buy nine scratch cards so he could replace them with a new batch which was a different card as those wouldn’t sell.
So I obliged… I win on every 2 cards anyway, as I buy 2 of the same card each time, so I will get my money back if I buy 9 scratch cards. So I did, and I did not win a single penny on any of them. But that was really good!
Why was it so good to lose my money that time? Because the universe was showing me that winning on every 2nd card is miraculous, not just odds. I really am doing something special when people see me hand in all my winnings at the counter and tell me they never win on anything at all. So yes occasionally something happens to alert me to the fact I was them once upon a time, telling all others I considered lucky, that I never win.
And it is a reminder that I win something on scratch cards and the lottery almost every day of the week. I just about get my money back to get my next ticket, so I’m still broke at the end of each month, but for the first time in 15 years I had money left over this month. I had £14 in my bank then found £25 that had fallen down the back of a table I left money on.

So that was a surprise, and this week something else happened with the lottery that taught me another lesson about winning. Which proved to me there are no odds as people believe when it comes to hitting the jackpot or even small wins. As so many of us say, what are the odds of winning?
I look for proof, lessons, proof and miracles in lottery numbers all the time. And so answers are given to me, such as what happened in the past 2 days. Yesterday I decided to fill in 2 thunder ball slips and bought 12 tickets so I had 12 thunder ball numbers. There were only 2 numbers left.
Just 2 numbers I didn’t have, which was numbers 2 and 3, So I’m guaranteed a win right, what are the chances of not getting one of the numbers I had picked, the odds of not landing on one of those 12 were almost impossible, yet the impossible happened as number 2 came out! Twist that around, because nothing is impossible, it was truly miraculous.
And none of my main numbers came out, so no win. Today I bought one lucky dip and number one was the thunder ball number on that ticket. So for starters, the miraculous thing is, that number was right next to the number 2 which lost yesterday. Then number one fell out of the machine!

So with 2 scratch cards I win! With 9 scratch cards I don’t… With 12 lottery tickets I lose and with just one lucky dip I win! So it is not about odds! It is about belief, timing, alignment, expectation, gratitude and joy!
Learning and knowing we can do this, discovering great wealth is on the inside and we cannot stop it manifesting on the outside once we get this message the universe relays to us every day. How many people buy their lottery ticket and see no clues in it and just discard it absent mindedly when they lose and pick up their money when they win without seeing a scrap of magic in it. It is like a business man never learning any lessons from all his failures that would help him succeed. It is like people only focusing on my losses and never seeing any magic or miracle in that.
But it is learning from our losses that teach us to be winners, it is the business man learning great lessons from his failures that teach him to eventually succeed rather than give up as many do. So I feel success is nearer not further away because if my loss then only a £3 win this week.

After all what is £3 when I lost £12 the day before, it’s pathetic right and nothing to shout about that’s for sure, so why bother writing this down. Because as pathetic as it seems I am elated, I see the magic in it and am so grateful the universe pointed this out to me, so I can point it out to you
Because when we truly get this, that real magic exists, that we can all be winners, that no one ever needs to struggle financially, unless we choose. Through our own disbeliefs, negativity and victimhood, and I will happily admit I’ve been there most of my life because I didn’t know any better, so I believed more in things going wrong for me than anything going right.
As our parents taught us, get too giddy and you’ll end up crying, and we always did so they were right weren’t they, as our downfall confirmed our belief. So our motto is don’t get too excited, expectant or happy as our world will come crashing down. So a hundred people will tell us we are gorgeous and we believe in the one person who said we are ugly, a happy week is destroyed by one bad day, as we then believe in more bad days.
That’s why we have so many! I saw a quote this week after thousands of failures over the years… it said, if you knew for certain after 100 failures you would succeed, then wouldn’t you embrace each failure knowing you were getting closer to success! If we saw failure this way we would win!

So we should believe more, laugh more, expect more and see the miracles that surround us every day. And focus on all the lessons in things that go wrong, and all the good in things that go right, all blessed by the universe.
